چکیده
The increase in building activity as a result of population expansion has resulted an overexploitation aggregate, with disastrous environmental consequences. Simultaneously, the disposal spent garnet by shipbuilding industry and palm oil clinker mills harms environment needs greater amount landfill space. Therefore, purpose this study was to determine influence fine aggregate substitute on fresh, mechanical, durability properties concrete. Concrete mixes were created using various percentages substitute, including 0%, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%. workability, compressive strength, flexural splitting tensile modulus elasticity, water absorption, acid resistance cured concrete all determined. It determined that 20% increased strength lightweight positive filler effect densely packed internal structure concrete, allowing it have lowest percentage absorption. same mixtures exhibited least mass change reduction when exposed solution. results established ecologically friendly may be manufactured considerable volumes waste from sectors.

Prediction of Lightweight Aggregate Concrete Compressive Strength
Nowadays, the better performance of lightweight structures during earthquake has resulted in using lightweight concrete more than ever. However, determining the compressive strength of concrete used in these structures during their service through a none-destructive test is a popular and useful method. One of the main methods of non-destructive testing in the assessment of compressive strength...
متن کاملEffects of Oil Palm Shell Coarse Aggregate Species on High Strength Lightweight Concrete
The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of different species of oil palm shell (OPS) coarse aggregates on the properties of high strength lightweight concrete (HSLWC). Original and crushed OPS coarse aggregates of different species and age categories were investigated in this study. The research focused on two OPS species (dura and tenera), in which the coarse aggregates were...
متن کاملUtilization of Palm Oil Clinker as Cement Replacement Material
The utilization of waste materials from the palm oil industry provides immense benefit to various sectors of the construction industry. Palm oil clinker is a by-product from the processing stages of palm oil goods. Channelling this waste material into the building industry helps to promote sustainability besides overcoming waste disposal problems. Environmental pollution due to inappropriate wa...
متن کاملProperties of Green Lightweight Aggregate Concrete
With increasing concern over the excessive exploitation of natural aggregates, synthetic lightweight aggregate produced from environmental waste is a viable new source of structural aggregate material. The uses of structural grade lightweight concrete reduce considerably the self-load of a structure and permit larger precast units to be handled. In this paper, the mechanical properties of a str...
متن کاملRapid Chloride Permeability Test on Lightweight Concrete Made with Oil Palm Clinker
This paper presents an experimental program on rapid chloride permeability test on lightweight concrete produced from oil palm clinker aggregates. Oil palm clinker is obtained from by-product of palm oil milling. Utilising oil palm clinker in concrete production not only solves the problem of disposing this solid waste but also help to converse natural resources. The parameter of investigation ...
